About Our Lead Consultant
Sebastian Ventrone has over 200 U.S. patents granted and was designated a Master Inventor at both IBM and GlobalFoundries. He chaired the Circuits and Special Topics Patent Board and provided global IP education to IBM’s worldwide new hires. Sebastian has mentored numerous patent teams across a broad range of technical areas.
At IBM and GlobalFoundries, Sebastian led the x86 and DSP processor design groups and served as the IP Center of Competence for both organizations. He brings extensive experience advising legal teams in patent generation and strategic defense, with deep knowledge of both the innovation and litigation landscapes.
About Clay Cranford
Clay Cranford is a leading analog designer with over 50 years of hands-on design experience. He holds more than 150 granted U.S. patents in four different companies and served as chair of an Analog Circuits Patent Board. Clay was recognized as a Master Inventor at both IBM and GlobalFoundries for his extensive contributions. He was also recognized as the IBM Research Triangle Park Inventor of the Year. At IBM and GlobalFoundries, Clay was a lead designer in high-speed serial link technology, bringing deep expertise in high-frequency analog and mixed-signal circuit design to a wide range of industry-critical innovations.
